When to Hire Minieri Associates...

A Consultancy is Often the Most Practical Choice!

In today's economy, few organizations have the luxury of "excess staff time" that can take on a new project while keeping up with their regular daily responsibilities. "Outsourcing" can be a cost-effective and time-efficient choice under many circumstances. Here's a list of reasons to hire Minieri Associates that we most frequently hear from our clients.

  • When your staff workload does not allow sufficient time for the project
  • When you need additional manpower to bring the project in on scheduled deadline.
  • When you want highly experienced and specialized expertise on the project
  • When you want to apply some "thinking outside of the usual box" involved.
  • When you need the credibility of independent professionals to convince top management
  • When you want a "transfer of new knowledge" into your organization.
  • When you require "state-of-the-art, world class and best practice" results.

  • We're Available for Sub-Contracting

    Supplementing Prime Contractors

It's a common practice for prime contractors to sub-contract all or part of an engagement to other security consulting firms. Many of the reasons are the same as those of the end customer. Minieri Associates does occasionally accept sub-contract assignments when OUR WORKLOAD permits!

We will also team with reputable contractors in the preparation of proposals for suitable projects around the globe

    A Few Project Case Studies

FAST RESPONSE FOR A MAJOR INTERNATIONAL HOTEL BRAND

With a "Western Branded" international hotel attacked by terrorists, Michael Minieri was on-site within days of the bombing at the request of the chain's corporate headquarters. His immediate task was to develop and oversee implementation of interim security measures to allow the hotel to reopen promptly under the heightened threat conditions. Subsequently, Michael Minieri was intimately involved in a comprehensive project to help the chain meet their objective of becoming the global hospitality industry leader in setting the highest security standards for all of its 100+ global locations. Photo is of one of the ACTUAL bombers who's detonator malfunctioned (unfortunately, several others worked)

For Phase 1, Michael Minieri worked directly with top corporate executives and was the principal author and Project Manager in developing a comprehensive document establishing the chain's global security policies and standards. This all encompassing set of requirements had to set a high standard for security measures and practices yet be flexible enough to address the varying needs of hotels of all sizes and in locations posing different levels of potential threat both internationally and domestically. Research was conducted to determine geopolitical threat risk profiles for terrorism and for crime, in every location along with a 24/7/365 notification service. Each hotel was designated into one of 3 threat levels with 6 risk categories to match specific geographic profiling requirements written into the security policy document.

In Phase 2, Michael Minieri and others developed and field tested the policy document as well as a custom site assessment protocol at a sampling of international hotels. Michael Minieri and a small team of others used this experience to roll-out the new policy, conduct consistent on-site security assessments at all the international hotels and produce detailed, uniform reports with recommendations. In total, more than 100 hotels were assessed. Additionally, Mr. Minieri personally performed a comprehensive set of services for owners, design teams and developers of NEW hotels in numerous worldwide locations and personally conducted assessments at more than a dozen global locations.
